John hopped a plane home from Phoenix while Bob made the drive back to Los Angeles. Hugs and kisses were traded with family members.
Was the trip worth the time and expense? Financially, probably not; strategically, almost certainly. The convention was modest but some good connections were made, and one should never underestimate the importance of good connections.
